Q:
How does the Sunless Solar Shower apply the tan?
A: The sunless shower booth uses a spray on process
which is designed to deliver a measured amount of sunless tanning lotion
to each individual.
Inside the Sunless shower room the client simply undresses and enters
the booth. A button is pushed and the session begins with a fine spray
of sunless-tanning solution. The client faces forward, there is a 3
second spray then a pause for 4 seconds whilst the client turns around
180degrees and a further 3 second spray is then distributed on the back.
The client then steps out for 30 seconds whilst the cabin is washed
down. The client then re-enters the cabin and repeats the process.
The advantage of this is that the first spray opens up the pores and
prepares the skin. This gives a better penetration of lotion and any
streaks from the first application are covered giving a darker (50%)
better and even colour the the competition.
Q:
Will it turn me orange?
A: Not at all! In the past, self-tanners gave many
individuals an unnatural orange glow and caused streaking. This was
mostly because of improper or ineffective application techniques. Applying
creams and lotions by hand usually results in excessive amounts being
absorbed in the skin. The spray technology used to apply the Classic
Tan solution assures that all areas of the body get a uniform coating
of the solution in the exact quantity required to produce a golden brown
tan.
Q:
What should I wear in the Sunless Solar Shower?
A: As the room is private many people choose to choose
to tan in the nude. However, if you do wear a underwear or a bikini,
please be aware that whatever you wear may be stained.
Q:
How long does a Solar Shower session last?
A: The actual tanning session is complete in less than
one minute. However, with preparation the entire session takes approximately
10-15 minutes. This includes undressing and applying neutralizing lotion.
Q:
When will my customers notice results?
A: They should begin noticing a color change within
2-3 hours after the session. The color will continue to get darker for
up to 24 hours. Depending on your skin type, immediate results may or
may not be noticed.
Q:How
long should they wait before showering?
A: We recommend a wait of 4-6 hours after a session.
This allows the solution to stay on the skin longer, resulting in a
darker, more uniform tan.
Q:
How long will the results last?
A: Results should last for approximately 4-5 days.
Because the Solar Shower is completely safe, a customer may use it more
than once within that time frame
Q:
What happens if the spray gets in my eyes?
A: There is nothing in the spray will harm your eyes.
Q:
Do I need to cover my hair while tanning in the Sunless Solar Shower?
A: Many customers wear disposable shower caps (provided
by the salon) to keep the solution from getting in their hair. Other
customers tan without covering their hair. Classic Tan does not penetrate
the hair follicle.
Q:
Will the components of the tannning solution make my skin have an unpleasant
smell?
A: Some customers have commented that they noticed
a smell on their skin for a brief period right after tanning, but it
is usually not noticeable to others around them.
Q:
Can I go swimming after the treatment?
A:
Swimming is not recomended. Swimming in chlorinated water can
bleach your tan and possibly cause streaking.
Q:
How many sessions do I require with the Sunless Solar Shower to achieve
the colour I want?
A: You will be tannned after one session. , but it
may take several sessions to achieve your desired color. Once you reach
the color you desire you should be able to maintain it by tanning every
four to five days.
Q:
If I tan in the Sunless Solar Shower, can I also tan in tanning beds
and in the sun?
A: Yes. There is nothing in the tanning solution that
would prevent you from tanning in tanning beds or the sun. In fact,
a number of customers have found that tanning with UV rays and the tanning
solution actually gives them a better overall tan. If you do plan to
use a tanning bed and the Sunless Solar Shower in the same day, we recommend
that you tan in the tanning bed first.
Q:
Because of my fair skin, I have had problems tanning before. Will the
Sunless Solar Shower work for me?
A: Yes. The Sunless Solar Shower was designed specifically
for individuals who can't or don't want to tan conventionally.
