Pre-Tan
- To
avoid irritation shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to your treatment.
- Exfoliate
and moisturise your skin prior to treatment to prepare your skin.
- Wear
loose fitting clothing so not to effect the tan after treatment.
- Wear
dark underwear as the as the tanning solution will stain light coloured
fabrics.
- Any
hair treatment must have been completed at least 24 hours prior to
treatment to avoid possible discoloration by the tanning solution.
Post-Tan
- Avoid
Strenuous exercise that could cause sweating as this can inhibit the
tan reaching its full potential.
- To
give the tan chance to develop wait at least 3 hours before taking
a shower or bath. It is advisable to wait overnight.
- It
is advisable because of the nature of the lotion to wait until you
have taken a shower or bath before sitting on light coloured furniture.
- When
showering it is possible you may see brown water washing away. This
will only be the excess solution being removed.
Looking
after your tan
- Avoid
swimming pools as the chlorine will bleach your tan
- Moisturise
on regular occasions to help maintain the optimum tan.
- Avoid
long hot showers and baths as this will speed up exfoliation.
- After
bathing or showering try to pat your skin as rubbing dry may rub off
your tan.
- Do
not over exercise as excess sweating will cause your tan to fade unevenly.
